Many of you will have noticed activity at the long-empty 1-2 Lincoln’s Inn Fields. On Thursday evening the building sprouted banners and began to prepare for an event described as ‘Bread and Circuses’ at 1600 on Friday 22 June.
As I was experimenting with the QR code on their front door this evening (it’s a very modern squat although the code doesn’t work) I bumped into one of the participants and he gave an interview which you can play below or click this link.
The general impression seems to be a peaceful occupation with some art and politics, legal papers have been served and the man I spoke to didn’t give the impression they planned to be there long. Let’s hope it all turns out like that.
